Knee Pain
The is quite literally stuck between a rock and a hard place. Its an interesting joint, and is one of the most commonly injured joints I see in the clinic. There are are multitude of ways to injury your knees. The big question that which must find out is if an injury has occurred to physical structures of the knee. This will include things like a meniscal injury or a ligament injury like an ACL or PCL. The other structure to consider is if the injury has something to do with the knee cap and the extensor mechanism. A thorough clinical examination along with patient history can do a good job in determining which structures are injured and the way to go about improving the situation.
