Learning
When it comes to learning a new skill you can learn into two ways. Implicitly or explicitly. You can learn the skill your self, based on feelings and correcting mistakes, or you have someone tell you how to perform the task. The best way to learn is a combination of both, as your skills become more honed, one can argue which becomes more important. In physiotherapy sessions it’s important to have clients perform the movement skills, give them feedback and allow them to correct mistakes. In learning more complex movements, its important for the client to make mistakes and for the client to learn how to correct them. Rehabilitation is refined learning of motor skills.
