Tendonitis
I will often have patients attend the physio clinic with tendon pain that seemingly came out of nowhere. No incident, no fall, no spill, no tweak and no sprain. And this is often the case with tendonitis and tendinopathies, its the monster hiding in the closet. The tendon is overloaded and overworked for a period of time then one day, it breaches the pain threshold and becomes a problem. Sometimes the physiotherapy course will be simple and short, sometime complex and long. Another reason why regular self care is important, take the time to check in with yourself , rest, recover and relax on a consistent basis.
