Its an easy acronym to remember, Frequency, Intensity, Type, and Time. This is all in relation to exercises interventions and program development. In the physiology realm this is what help keeps track of how one progress their exercises through careful monitoring . As has been the theme with the blog of late, You will notice the final T is for time, How much time is applied to the exercise intervention, without dedicating the time the other parameters don’t matter.
