23.5 hrs

Physical fitness requires time, arguably it is the most important investment we can make. Surprisingly the time requirements for physical activity to lead to a benefit is really low. In Canada, guidelines for adults aged 18-64 are a combined 150 minutes of vigorous to moderate intensity per week. That’s 5 x 30 minute sessions per week. The big question is- How do we limit our sitting, standing, laying down and general inactivity to 23.5 hours a day? This concept is brilliantly put together in a video by Physician Dr. Mike Evans, watch it here.
