Self reported exercise

I remember reading the difficulties of self reporting and estimations in “Why Calories Count”. Self reported caloric intake studies had participants always underestimating their true intakes. It turns out with exercise , the opposite is true, most people tend to over estimate their true exercise amount. Don’t fret, it means that with less exercise than we think we are getting, there is still substantial health benefits- this speaks to the true effectiveness of exercise.
