Help, not Hype

I saw this , of all places, on a ad for a Canadian bank. I thought it was clever. The amount of hype and borderline false advertisement that exists these days is staggering. In the world of rehabilitation it can be almost criminal. The buzz words, colors, trending looks and outrageous promises of life long unencumbered health. Is this real life?!?

Practicing physiotherapy is all about help, it should never be about hype. It’s what I pride myself with at Range, helping people. When the service is good, clients are educated, they understand their injury and how to manage it. The provider and client are working together for better - its part of the deal, its not hype.

Seeing this ad has me wondering of the greater trend. Are people beginning to tire of the endless hype with all products and services? Are we becoming more aware of our need for true help and beginning to not be confused with false hype.
