Do, Process

Seeking and searching for the most efficient, most beneficial exercise is a reasonable and just action when you are looking to heal an injury or improve performance. In todays rapidly moving information environment there are plenty of well known and sometimes well meaning sources of this information. However the one thing that is often missing is the process of applying these exercises. Learning or performing a new movement or exercises is a largely meaningless practice if it is not applied over a period of time. What good is a new exercise if you only do it for 2 weeks. It should be that these sources of information discuss processing more, how long it takes for your body to change and adapt, how long it takes for you to feel strong, confident and secure with your recovery. This is always a missing feature. Unfortunately in our fast moving world, process doesn’t lead to clicks, process doesn’t sell a gimmick, and process doesn’t fill an immediate insecurity driven by the market of products , information and ideas. Process is the most important part, the process of applying the exercises , doing the work, should not be forgotten.
