Granularity
Details matter. On first assessment the client will want to know which structures are injured, what we can do about it and how long it will take to get back into doing their respective activities. These details and this level of granularity matters very for an accurate client diagnosis and treatment course. In contrast some other details won’t matter. It doesn’t matter how long you ice if you aren’t gong to do any range of motion exercises, it won’t matter focussing on your first run back when you haven’t been doing any rehabilitative exercise. The details matter but they must build on each to get to the end goal.
